• Let the mayhem begin!!!

Epic matchups are going to happen. Magnum P.I. has a score to settle with Quigley Down Under. The Lollipop Guild is all up in the Oompa Loompa's grill. Uncle Ben is stinkin up Aunt Jemima's kitchen and she's not havin' any of it!!! Remember when my dad beat up your dad? Yeah ya do. Well, that was awesome (for me), but these showdowns will make that taste like weak sauce in comparison. Be ready, because it is gonna get ugly up in here!!!

EPISODE 2 WINNER: VADER

After hearing the arguments both online and offline, a winner has been determined.  The winner is... LORD VADER.

Many points have been raised. The strongest argument in favor of Voldemort is that he has separated his soul into 7 pieces all of which need to be destroyed in order to truly kill him.  However, this is Epic Showdowns, not Celebrity Deathmatch.  A showdown is exactly that.  This does not mean a victor is decided in a fight to the death.  It can simply mean, "who will win in a confrontation between A & B".  In this case if Vader and Voldey decide to get into it, who comes out on top for that confrontation.  This isn't about Vader having to destroy Voldey completely, he just needs to come out on top in this confrontation in order to win.

The strongest argument against Voldey is that as a Wizard, he depends heavily on the use of his wand, and the ability to physically speak his spells in order to cast them.  If Vader were to disarm him of his wand, and use the force to choke him, he would have no problem taking advantage of this situation and taking him down.

In star wars, "The Force" is a life form that surrounds all living things.  Those gifted in their command of the Force can manipulate this life force and do some really bad things.  This works against Voldey.  If Voldey has no knowledge of the Force, then would he have the ability to resist it and defend against it?  Probably not right away.  Vader could quickly disarm him, much like Vader did to Han Solo when he disarmed him in cloud city.  Without his wand, Voldey is vulnerable.  Vader puts the choke hold on him and either crushes his wind pipe or slices him in half with is light saber.

Also, since Vader is mostly machine, and only partially living in the flesh, Voldemort might have a difficult time knowing right away which spell would affect him most, again advantage Vader.

Too much stacks against Voldemort in this one.  Looks like Voldey has fallen victim to the Dark Side of The Force this time.
