The Scenario
Forget what you know about Darth Vader at the end of Return of the Jedi (pasty old fossil in life support suit). This version of Vader is Tall, Dark and Ruthless. He's just finished his beatdown on the Jedi, proving that their soft, sensitive side of the force is no match for the power of the Darkside. When he and Kenobi fought the first time, he was but an apprentice, now he is the Master...but there's one problem...There's a new Lord "V" in town who thinks he's the darkest of them all.
Lord Voldemort, is Dark Wizard who can talk to SNAKES! Did anyone see Vader talking to that snake/worm thing in the trash compactor on the detention level of the Death Star? Oh SNAP! Voldemort is hell-bent on proving that his wizardry is more lethal and crafty than the dark side of the force. Good old Voldey is the most talented wizard to ever walk the halls of Hogwarts and that's no joke. Dumbledore said it himself. He who shall not be named is ready to prove that some muggle with a laser sword and lame choke holds is no match for a wizard and his wand.
The Showdown Facts:
- Vader is a master with a light saber, an extremely powerful weapon
- Vader has command of the dark side of the force, which grants him the ability to physically harm and even kill an individual. It also gives him the power to manipulate the environment around him and control physical objects.
- Vader's body is mostly cybernetically enhanced, which possibly gives him superior strength. However, he also depends on these cybernetics to breath and stay alive.
- Voldemort is possibly the most talented spellcaster in the magic world with the ability kill with the flick of his wand.
- Voldemort has dispatched rmany a talented spellcaster.
- Voldemort can fly and teleport himself through magic
- Voldemort could be more powerful in terms of magic vs. force, but is inferior to Vader as it relates to physical combat.

While Vader is a cybernetic being capable of destruction on a mass scale, he is still human. And with most humans they have their emotions to deal with. Following the legacy of the Skywalkers, we can note Luke is pretty much a whiny bee-atch, and like father like son (You know what I am talking about). Voldemort lacks the emotion of love (HP&HBP-CH20), and will less likely to be distracted by dying girlfriends and various family members.
I am picking Voldemort on this one.
I think it is Vader. While he is not "magic", he has the force. Think about it, "the force" represents faith (either good or bad) What is more powerful than that? Voldemort has a tendency to be vain and overlooks others powers, he loses because of vanity.
I give this one to Vader.
Ok, Vader has this one hands down. Voldemort is too cocky and has to explain what he's doing. Not only would Vader just mind crush Volde's larynx just to shut his trap, has has the force on his side and can easliy control any magic Voldemort could could think of. Vader would pop Volde's head like a pimple before he could even form what spell he was going to use.

Vader, the mind controls everything, even magic!! And, pleasee!!! A tough guy with the voice of James Earl Jones, in a black suit, with a M.F. red as hell light saber and the most awesome mask in whole galaxy!!! Or a bald guy with dirty sheets over him and... a stick made of wood???
I think that basically The Force is a Magic and Magic is The Force, so there is no big difference between Vader and Voldemort. Maybe if lightsaber is capable of deflecting Avada Kedavra the same way as it can deflect Force Lightning then Vader would win in the end. Though Voldemort is older and has more experience than Vader and he would be very difficult opponent. It would be an epic battle...
